📚✨ Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is HERE! May 5–9 ✨📚
This week, we’re celebrating the incredible teachers and staff who shape our stories every day at Foothills. Our theme is “Teachers are like good books; they can change you forever.” Let’s fill the week with gratitude and fun as we show them just how much they mean to us!
📣 Monday – Kind Words Count
Like the first page of a great book, a compliment can make a lasting impression! Share kind words with teachers and staff.
✍️ Tuesday – Notes of Gratitude
Write a thoughtful note to your teacher! Free notecards will be available in the foyer before school.
🙌 Wednesday – High Five Day!
Give teachers and staff a high five in the halls—because every chapter needs a little joy!
🎁 Thursday – Gift Giving (Optional)
Bring a little gift for your teacher—homemade, from their “likes list,” or their Amazon wish list. Every gesture, big or small, is appreciated! You can find your teacher's lists at http://tiny.cc/2vah001
👩🏫 Friday – Dress Like a Teacher Day!
Dress as a fictional teacher, your teacher, or just teacher-inspired! Let’s end the week with some fun!.
Thank you to our incredible Foothills families for always supporting our teachers and staff. With your help, this school is one unforgettable story.

ATTENTION all current high school seniors! We are excited for our very first Salem Walk so we can see all of our previous Falcons who will be graduating this year!

✨Exciting day for our 5th graders at Foothills Elementary! 🎭 After diving into our CKLA unit on "A Midsummer Night's Dream," they're off to see the magic come alive at Spanish Fork High School's production! 🌟

As the school year winds down, it's time to round things up! Please start sending in any library books and lunch money. Thanks so much for your help in wrapping up a great year!

Fifth Grade Art students have been working hard on their candy bar pop art.

In the mornings, Mrs. Haroldsen’s class watches the progress the caterpillars have made overnight. We love learning about the living things all around us.

Because we knew you, we have been changed for good. Thank you to our WICKEDLY OZ-ome secretaries who work their magic for our school every day. We are beyond lucky to have you!

Mrs. Cope's class finished their unit on the human body. They learned about cells, tissues, organs and body systems. They wrote about what they learned.

In kindergarten, we have been learning about taking care of the earth. We've discussed the many ways that we can help to conserve earth's natural resources, including composting and the 3 Rs-- reduce, reuse, and recycle. We even had "compost" cake.

Mrs. Roberts's class is practicing diligently for their end-of-year concert on May 9th.

Enjoy some amazing artwork by some of our students.

Miss Carlile’s class got to reinforce their geometry skills by coding Ozobots to trace over shapes based on their sides and angles. They love using computer science to do math!

Ms. Thompson's Kindergarten class has been learning about the plant lifecycle. We planted seeds in dirt, watered them, put them near the sunny window and they sprouted!
